Impatience Is A Virtue Award
The ‘Impatience Is A Virtue Award’ has been created as an inspirational legacy by the Final 10 on Virgin Media Pioneers’ ‘The Project’.
What is the Impatience Is A Virtue Award?
The final event that The Project’s Final 10 organised at the Royal Opera House, London on 7th September – in just six weeks – was called ‘Impatience Is A Virtue’ as it demonstrated just how much can be accomplished when you use impatience in a positive way. Now they’re challenging you to do the same.
The ‘Impatience Is A Virtue Award’ consists of £500 raised in charitable guest donations by way of a ‘thank you’ from guests for their free tickets to The Project’s ‘Impatience Is A Virtue’ event.
About The Project
The event saw headliners ‘The Noisettes’ take to the stage alongside an impressive line-up that included Tanya Lacey, Nathan Flutebox Lee and The Clinic, Blizzard, George The Poet, Rikstar and Suli Breaks. Not bad for six weeks worth of hard work! They hope that it’s inspired other Pioneers to accomplish things in short periods of time.
Who will be given the Impatience Is A Virtue award?
As you can probably guess from the name that they chose for their event, the Final 10 aren’t about to kick back now that their ‘Impatience Is A Virtue’ event has taken place. In fact, far from it. They’ll be scouring the Pioneers community for the businesses they think best demonstrate their ethos that impatience is a virtue.
Five deserving businesses from the Pioneers community will be shortlisted and profiled on the Virgin Media Pioneers site with one lucky winner walking away with the ‘Impatience Is A Virtue’ award and £500 to spend on their business.
In their search for five shortlisted businesses and one ‘Impatience Is A Virtue’ award-winner, the Final 10 will be studying your Pioneers’ Profile including your ‘Discussions’ so don’t forget to keep your profile updated.
The five shortlisted businesses and the ‘Impatience Is A Virtue’ award winner will be announced in late October.
