Virgin Media Sponsor Eurogamer Expo 2012
Grab your joysticks and blow the dust off your cartridges because this year’s Eurogamer Expo is almost upon us. Running from Thursday 27 to Sunday 30 September, Eurogamer is the place to be if you’re looking to experience the newest games months ahead of general release as well as getting the chance to hear from the developers themselves through workshops and seminars.
Headline sponsor Virgin Media are aiming to steal the show by partnering with some of the top games publishers with three exciting gaming titles, FIFA 13, GRID 2 and Mists of Pandaria, to give visitors an opportunity to try out the latest games using its superfast broadband with speeds of up to 100Mb.
The expo will also feature the winners of Virgin Media’s 100 Day Game Project, Surface Tension Studios, as they complete the final stages of development on their new mobile game ‘Superfluid’ live on the Virgin Media stand. This will be the first opportunity for visitors to test out the innovative new game before it’s released to the public. Virgin Media Pioneers will also be represented at Eurogamer by Pioneer and SBTV founder Jamal Edwards who’s recently added a ‘Gadgets & Games’ feature into his arsenal of youth media coverage.
