The Networker: Starting Conversations [Episode 04]
The key to being a self sufficient networker is the ability to start a conversation with someone you’ve never met before, without an introduction. One great way to kick start a conversation is by paying someone a compliment. Used in the right way, a genuine and tactful compliment can be the ice breaker that leads to a valuable professional relationship further down the line.
Pioneers TV presenter Reuben Christian gives us a lesson in what to do, and what not to do, when it comes to starting conversations.
The Networker is a new series on Pioneers TV presented by comedian Reuben Christian. In each episode Reuben dissects the practice of networking, as only he can, focusing on the areas that will ensure viewers are fully equipped when it comes to building their business network.
