Twitter Q&A with Bev James: 1pm – 2pm, Tuesday 30th October

Business coach and Director of Mentoring for Start-Up Loans Bev James will be taking some time out of her busy day to join us in a live Twitter Q&A. You can start Tweeting your questions now using #AskBev.

Our Twitter Q&A sessions give Pioneers the chance to pick the brains of a variety of entrepreneurial spirits. We encourage Pioneers to ask entrepreneurs all types of questions. Whether you need personal advice or you’re simply interested in finding out a bit more about our expert’s experiences, all you need to do is Tweet your questions.

A bit about Bev

Bev James is CEO of The Academy Group which includes the Entrepreneurs’ Business Academy – a joint venture with James Caan from BBC Dragons’ Den launched in 2010 – and The Coaching Academy, the world’s largest training school for coaches.

Business coaching can play an essential role when working toward entrepreneurial success and mentoring is often an invaluable resource as many Pioneers can attest.

Bev is a business mentor and start up advocate and has recently been appointed Director of Mentoring for Start Up Loans. Start Up Loans is a government initiative for young entrepreneurs that is chaired by James Caan and was set up by Lord Young. It came out of Pioneers’ Youth Investment Fund campaigning early in 2012.

The video below from Start Up Loans features Bev discussing the importance of mentoring in successful businesses and the Start Up Loans scheme itself and should help inspire lots of questions.

For more information on Bev and any of the projects she is involved in visit her website, BevJames.com and download the free business app she created following the success of her Sunday Times bestseller book, ‘DO IT! OR DITCH IT®’.

How to get involved in our Twitter Q&A

• Use the #AskBev hashtag to submit a question. We’ll keep it safe for you until the Q&A.

• Follow the hashtag #AskBev from 1pm-2pm (GMT), Tuesday 30th October to follow the conversation live and see the other questions asked – they may be helpful for you too.

• Even if you can’t tune in, we’ll include your Twitter handle when your question is asked and in the answer too (if we’ve got enough characters).

• Follow Bev on Twitter @Bev_James  as well as @CoachingAcademy  and @StartUpLoansUK.

It’s best to get your questions in as early as possible to make sure Bev can answer them – we often have a flurry of questions during our Twitter Q&As and sadly we can’t always get through them all but we promise to try our best.

You never know what your question might lead to – collaborative opportunities are always around the corner when it comes to Virgin Media Pioneers, so do get involved.
