So far I have a great idea
I am 22 years old and a Graduate -BSc Sociology from the University of Southampton. I am looking to set up a project to help improve how the global dimension of the National Curriculum is taught. Making sure that all students are educated about the global society that we live in. Especially focused on trade justice & Fairtrade as well as Education for all. I am motivated by articles like this http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/education-16071105 not only is it important for young peoples careers that they learn about the global society that they live in but also because knowing about different cultures and the effects of our own actions on others lives makes you more empathetic to them which is hugely important if we are trying to encourage people to take action against social injustice and climate change. I have a keen interest in learning about and improving the well-being and happiness of young people in the UK, having recently taken a course in NLP and certified as an NLP practitioner I am keen to use the skills and techniques that I have learnt to help other young people.
