Eliza Rebeiro
Eliza's info
I'm from London, South East, United Kingdom and I'm here to find support, get financial advice, get business planning advice, motivate others, find inspiration, expand my network
So far I have a great idea, written a business plan, gained funding, worked with a business agency, registered the company, started trading
I am the founder of LIVES NOT KNIVES – I started by campaigning locally and before I knew it I was being asked to talk at City Hall Westminster and meeting Gordon Brown.
In 2010, I was fortunate to be chosen as a Battlefront campaigner and was awarded some funding from Croydon Council to take LNK roadshows to Croydon Schools. The LNK roadshows are preventative programmes to educate pre and early teens of the consequences of joining a gang and carrying a weapon, which have proven to be hugely successful. This led to LNK working with young offenders as a form of restorative justice within the community.
LNK aims to reduce youth crime by helping young people to work together in the community. We also promote young peoples achievements and believe all young people deserve a second chance.
LNK are proud have been awarded:
Philip Lawrence Award winners 2010
Diana Award Winner 2010
