So far I have a great idea

Hi, I’m really excited about Virgin Media Pioneers and being involved with it’s wide range of business ideas and people. It’s amazing to see so many people active on this site and I can’t wait to see how it all develops. A quick bit about me – I was born in London but spent 7 years growing up in Trinidad in the Caribbean enjoying the sun and the beach before coming back to live first in London and then Scotland. My first ever ever job was as a post boy in an office aged 15 but my first proper job was selling single boxes of Walkers crisps to corner shops near Newcastle after 4 years at Edinburgh University. After 5 years and many jobs at Walkers I was selling 10 million packs a week to Sainsburys. I left Walkers to work for charity and go travelling for 7 months before joining cable company Telewest. There I helped us launch selling broadband in Dixons, set up a sales team that sold in shopping centres and helped with the rebrand from Telewest to Virgin Media. Since we’ve been Virgin I’ve been involved in a lot of the planning for offers and promotions and working with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Market Research, IT etc. to do offers such as 2 months free and Xmas on Us. I used to play football every week but I want to get better at tennis and now do that each week. I love travelling, visiting museums, seeing lots of friends and generally looking out for new experiences. Do get in touch and hope to speak via video soon.
