‘Greetings from A Beautiful Continent’ is a greeting card publisher set up to produce high-end African-inspired greeting cards for the African Diaspora mainly in the UK, USA, Canada and Australia and those with an interest in Africa particularly visitors to the Continent.
Artwork is sourced and licensed from known and undiscovered talent; photographers, illustrators and graphic designers whose work capture the essence of modern Africa in a fresh and contemporary way.
I am an award-winning Artist. In 2006, I was selected as the Winner of the Fashion and Textiles category for V&A’s annual ‘Inspired by…’ competition. In 2007, I was selected as the one of the Finalists for Canada and Europe for the Commonwealth Foundation’s Arts and Craft Award.
I am also a hard-working and highly motivated professional. I am sincerely passionate about this venture, and am driven to build an upscale brand which celebrates African tradition, beauty and culture. My goals are to introduce consumers and recipients to the pleasure of incorporating affordable high quality African-inspired art into their everyday lives in a simple way, to provide the African Diaspora worldwide with an elegant and inexpensive means of reconnecting with their heritage and to increase mutual understanding between people from different cultures through art.
