Win a business networking trip to India

Now, thanks to Virgin Atlantic, we’ve got another exciting opportunity open to the Virgin Media Pioneers community. To celebrate Virgin Atlantic’s new London-Mumbai route, they’re offering four deserving Pioneers a one-of-a-kind, all expenses paid* business networking trip to India.

Your itinerary

It is a two stop trip where you will visit cultural Delhi and cosmopolitan Mumbai. You’ll stay at the Taj Mahal Hotel in Delhi and the Oberoi in Mumbai (two of India’s finest business hotels), meet fellow entrepreneurs from the UK and India over lunch at the British High Commissioner’s residence and be part of an exclusive audience with Pioneer at Large, Sir Richard Branson.

Virgin Atlantic is proud that their business routes serve some of the most culturally and commercially exciting destinations in the world and Delhi and Mumbai are no exception. When you’re not networking at an exclusive canapé and cocktail evening poolside or eating and drinking at some of the cities’ finest restaurants and bars, you’ll be invited to explore Elephanta Island on a boat trip, take a cookery class and make sure every first impression that you make is a memorable one with your own personal shopping session. Mumbai is considered by many to be one of the most cosmopolitan cities in India. There’ll be plenty of time to find out for yourself on your final day before departing for Mumbai International Airport to fly back to the UK.

How to apply

To apply to be one of the four Pioneers selected, please email pioneers@virginmedia.co.uk:

• 150 words as to why winning the trip to India would benefit your business development
• Your business name
• Your website address
• Your name, address, telephone number and email address
• Confirm that you have a valid passport with at least two blank pages

Closing date

The closing date for applications is 1pm on Wednesday 3rd October 2012.

Up to eight shortlisted candidates will then be asked to submit a short video (2 minutes max). In the video, shortlisted candidates will introduce themselves and their business and explain what winning the trip to India would mean to them and their business. Two winners will be chosen by a panel of judges from Virgin Media Pioneers and the remaining two winners will be the shortlisted candidates who receive the most votes from the Pioneers community.

*As hosts, Virgin Atlantic will take care of your room charge meals, activities and transportation. All other incidentals must be settled by you before the end of the trip.
