Our Spark Your Ideas event series has now come to a close and what a journey it was! Over the course of six events we hit up London, Manchester, Birmingham, Sheffield and Edinburgh meeting hundreds of amazing entrepreneurs from the Virgin Media Pioneers Community.
For those that were unable to attend here’s a look at what we got up to. Each event was focussed around the following three key areas:
- Skills
- Inspiration
- Community.
1. Skills – Understanding Your Proposition & Your Brand
Led by the always exciting creative agency Twenty % Extra this session we got to the core of what makes a brand, a brand. Our Pioneers learnt how to develop their brand whilst gaining a fundamental understanding of how their proposition and brand vision work hand in hand.
2. Inspiration – Guest Speaker
At each event (apart from Manchester – blame a sudden bout of milaria!) we had an entrepreneurial speaker sharing their success story and passing on those all important lessons they learnt along the way. Speakers included Lara Morgan, Michael Ord, Andy Murray and Justice Williams MBE.
3. Community – Pioneers Networking session
This was our chance to develop the contacts attendees had previously made on www.virginmediapioneers.com by meeting up in a face to face situation. Business cards were flying about and conversations were thriving. Good times!
