This is a great idea. Well done to VMP and cellar door. Alot of emphasis is on online sales so finding opportunities for young people to showcase and gain experience in retail face to face with customers shows that the high street is alive and kicking. Agree with Richard’s first point but not sure mail order is the route to go down xreply

Props to Virgin media, cellar door did not do a good job though.
The event was in a back alley in an area that wasn’t suited to the brands.
If you ever want to see a proper street wear event come down to east gallery on brick lane! There are a handful held every year.reply

Went to the event and saw the filming being done which has come out really well. Never really see big brands like this showing support to aspiring labels so hats off to Virgin.
The comment from James above is a bit off. There’s a time and a place for self promotion mate! I wonder if you have worked with Virgin Media like this before to help give the brands promotion? Why not talk about colaborating with cellar door (good job) instead of bringing negativity? Oh well there’s always one…

4Love&Money – I like your chat ‘a nod to old styles’ ;-)reply

@James . . Cellar Door were one of the first to support and hold the street wear pop up events at the East Gallery in Shoreditch long before the rest of the herd followed suit.I also went to the pop up weekend event they held in West London and the invite only Mens wear trade show they held in a secret warehouse location in Whitechapel . . UK Street Wear, is just that UK wide, and it must be bigger than and attract more than just the hipsters in Shoreditch who have mostly forgotten what it is like to walk down any sort of ‘alley’ towards anywhere special and unique in order for it to flourish.reply

Woah.. every one of these guys and girls are inspirational.

I haven’t done much with my life except help others but this is truly remarkable.

These people are the driving force of the UK economy. And they could also become mentors for other young people who want to follow in their footsteps to create their own fashion brand.

Well done.. I take my hat of to everyone in this video.reply

Impressive stuff – Mark from Cellar Door does a slick introduction to some creative talent.

No doubt at least one or two of the artists presenting their work will go onto launching their work on the global stage.

    Keep up the good work.reply
